Earth BC stands for Earth Before Christ. So generally we are taking place somewhere in ancient Rome. This is a time when gods and goddess ruled the world, along with mysterious creatures alike. Here at EarthBC, we are roleplaying the gods, goddesses, centaurs, nymphs, mortals and immortals alike. Our roleplay is all make believe, we are not going by the real timing of Hercules, Ceaser, etc. Nor are some of the places one here really in Rome. Some are real, some arent. This is a mix of reality and things we have made up. So if someone is posting in the Temple at the Tiberius river, its just fine. Even in real life if there was, or never was a temple there.
Please also note that our roleplay is not based on the real lives of the gods. (What was said to be and what happened with them and all). For instance, if your applying for Aphrodite, you do not have the be the wife of Hephaestus as it says when you look up information on her. This goes for all characters, you may choose your own way on who the character will fall in love with, etc. Its play by post. Not by the past. =)
