The sun had placed a kiss upon the earths soil, a kiss which stole away the lands very breath..its moisture whisked away in the heat. Despite the blistering weather two forms were seen wavering in the distence, thier images distorted by distence and the ever rising heat. Yet even from a distence one could pick out a few details.
Though both of similar height, one reflected the suns light, shining a brilliant pale grey, from a distence she could almost be called albino..until that is one took note of her darkened muzzle, the other seemed almost to mimic the flaring sun, her hide a startling shade of chestnut, her leg however were dipped in white, her face dazzeling in its snow like clearity.
Closer now more details could be seen thier forms less distorted by the heat waves which rose like shimmering cloaks over anything far off, Though vastly differant in many ways..the pale one streamlined as only arab blood can give, the other less refined perhaps but no less striking, her lines clean and straight, Both were stamped with several features which only a close relation could attain, they were related it was obvious..though how was unknown.
Pacific snorted at the parched earth, cracking and withered, her dainty hooves floated above such terrain as though in disdain of the entire area, headand tail high the grey mare eyed thier surroundings with a suspicious glare, why she had choosen to follow Rayne on this journey was beyond her and she nipped her chestnut compainion lightly to hurry her along.
"This land is soo.."
Rayne started at the nip, scooting foreward slightly but otherwise ignoring her sisters temper, her eyes were wide as she took in this new land, her steps light with excitement where her sister danced across the land as though disgusted by its presence Rayne floated simply on the wings of adventure.
"Beautiful.."
"I was going to say dull..."
"Everything is dull to you Paci"
Pacific snorted at the much hated nickname but otherwise ignored her naive sister, her darting eyes searching for any who may approach. She had wished to scout the land in secret..but Rayne in her exitment had argued the plan with such tenacity that she had given in simply to shut her up. pinning her ears Pacific glared at the horizan. This land was not for them, despite Rayne arguments otherwise.
"Rayne...your going to get us killed barging in like this..have i taught you nothing?"
Rayne sighed in exhasperation with her over protective sibling and shook her head.
"Not if what I've heard is true, besides..this is what she was supposed to be remember?, you should embrace your heritage"
Pacific mumbled obsenities under her breath..a heritage that was no doubt a lie, and the sooner her sister learnedthat the sooner they could return home, with such a though Pacific forced her ears foreward, palstering a plesant look upon her face simply to please her sister.
"see! your happier already"
Pacific turned her head and rolled her eyes.

He cantered along easily, scanning the area for any mares. Seeing none, he continued on. He slowly entered a field, and lowered his nape for a quick bite. His mug closed around the tender blades. He ate for less then a minute, and was on his way again.
His hoof made a small imprint where it had collided with the ground. Dakota liked the sound. It was a booming sensation. He turned his pace to a gallop, swerving around trees, darting over logs. He was having the time of his life.
He exited the tree line, and slammed on the brakes. Two faes. He tossed his dial, his mane neatly laying flat against his neck, his forelock calming down. He raised his banner, showing his Arabian blood. He trotted forward toward the faes. He bowed down, his voice soft and comforting.
'Lo, m'dears. I be Dakota, lead of Eclipse Valley. What be thy names?
He eyed the grey and chestnut equines with interest.

Pacific frowned as a stag quite suddenly appeared from admist the treeline eyeing him with a decidedly haughty look, ears flicked back to speak of wariness. It was good to be wary of strange beasts in strange places and she circled off slightly in hopes that her wayward sister would follow and give them some distence on the unknown
Rayne was delighted at the arrival of another and ignoring the sour looks and not so subtle urgings the firestruck mare paced foreward to meet the beast, she was pleased with both his words and his bow, fore she had seen stags do neither in her former world.
"Greetings Dakota, I'm Autumn Rayne..my Sister is dubbed Pacific"
Pacific glared with obvious annoyance at her sisters bright chiming voice and all to eagar actions..but such was often the way with Rayne..and as always the pale mare stood ready to race foreward and defend her youthful brethren should this stag prove the way of most stags..hard and wicked. Pinned ears displayed the pale femmes obvious displeasure but she remained silent..for the moment.

Seeing Pacific's displeasure, Dakota stepped back a few steps, ensuring them a possible escape route. He returned up from his bow, lightly smiling.
Thy names are beautiful.
He watched them both. His actions showed no harm toward them. He was shy, but over coming it right now.
Why you guys wander these parts?
He inquired. His voice was soft and calm.

.i. had been standing off to the side up the hill and into the trees. I looked two mares and one brujo. I was sure they one brujo was a leader and the mares were related since they didnt leave each other side. I wondered to myself on weather or not to join them. Once I decided yes I had heard there voices. Pacific and Autumn Rayne. The brujo Dakota.
.i. nickered as I made my way down the hill. Coming to a stand still I bowed my dial to the brujo called Dakota. He was a leader so I had to respect him. I looked to the mares, smile dressed my mug as I dipped my dial like a cowboy tipping his hat to a lady. I waited just a moment before speaking.
Lo' I am Demon Ride. Leader of nothing.

Pricked ears waivered slightly as the steed stepped back, lowering her head to peer upwards at him she wondered briefly if the stag was somehow displeased by her answer despite his words, nervous now she skittered sideways, just now getting a glimpse of her sisters sour look.
Suddenly it all became quite clear and yet she stayed slightly to the side to please her sister, blinking at her slightly..could she at least try not to be so ill tempered? A second stag came near and simply to please her sister Rayne did not rush foreward to meet thisone but simply dipped her head in aknowledgement.
She paused briefly before answering, they were here to search for someone but as Pacific has told her..it was not wise to simply wander from place to place..they would need a safe haven from which to do so.
"We're looking for someone..."
Pacific sighed at her sisters pleading look and obliged her by tipping her ears slightly foreward, though she fixed the new stag with a hardened gaze less he try anything either. Seeing that her sister was now too nervous to act irrationally she stepped forth to take over the converse, before her stuttering sister chased off the two beasts and like it or not they had agreed upon fidning a herd here.
"Our search will be long I fear and I wish for a safe haven for my sister and myself"
the pale hued femme attempted to speak in a friendly manner though little could disguise her underlying distaste for the lands, but for her sister she would shun her darker nature..attempt to be pleasing as expected of such a place. She stressed the word safe, and stamped a foreleg once more to ensure the beasts got her meaning.

From a short distance away, the stag listened, quite to his amusement. One of the wrenches seemed peppy and bright as sunshine, but the other had " fuck off " plastered across her forhead. He much preferred the attitude of the second. He did not know formally or otherwise the stags gathered about the two.
Hitler was observing again. Why, he had answered that question many times with a short, cold laugh. Mostly concealed by the shadows, he was not visible unless you were really looking... or looking for an excuse to leave. Auds were pinned against his skull, as they most often were. Whipcord slammed into his side, ending the short lives of several little pesks that buzzed and bit him. He wasn't a lair, often pain was welcome, but when you get down to those little beast trying to eat you alive, its too much.

Dakota nodded. As the dark stag approached, Dakota felt his spine bristle. He had had many experiences with darks, not one of them good. His sire was on the dark side, and had haunted Dakota for that for years.
Dakota looked toward Rayne. She seemed to be the only one cooperating.
M'dears, what are you looking for... A dark, light, or neutral stallion?
His lyrics were calm, trying to ignore the evil stag.

Pacific smirked at the beasts question, she knew well which she would choose and twisting her visage away from the..conversation less Rayne sulk more should she see it, Pacific amused herself by muttering a few choice words. A flitter of motion garnered her attention from the shadows beyond the gathering and nares flared, for an instant her ears pricked as she found the hidden stags outline, though they quickly flattened once more. The hidden beast might be more her preferred style..but would not do for this ill begotten mission.
Tail snapping with impatience the pale mare turned back to the conversation at hand. Icy eye's fixed upon this Dakota beast whom seemed so intrested in her sister, poor naive little Rayne.
Rayne cocked her head sideways at Dakota's question, an almost comical action on most equid and yet strangely fitting on the Fire hued femme, Eyes darting about with uncertainty..as though confused by the question, she had grown in a world mostly dark..lights and the undecided were mysteries to her in most ways..she truely did not know what to suspect..nor did she know which her missing dam would choose..though she felt certain she would not have been run off from one dark herd to another as Pacific had attempted to tell her a wise mare would. According to Pacific only those of darkness possessed the strength to truly lure a frightened and safty seeking mare..of course Paci was incredibly biased and believed anything but her own beliefs to be that of nonesense.
She blinked a few times..the long slow blinks of someone thinking much to hard on so simple a question before answering.
"I believe either Nuetral or Light would suit our purposes.."
That is of course if she interpretted the neutrals correctly..she had only rumors to go on, but she thought it would be fitting.

Figuring that there movements were as good a cue as any, he entered from left stage. His movements were quick, but dripped with a cold ice. The air that had been working hard on warming itself, returned to the cold as he slid along. Venturing from the shadows, for he knew that they'd contain no advantage here, he progressed towards the group.
Auds pinned as he halted. There was a hiss, and under his breathe, he laid a warning upon the skull of the stallion paying such interest. Noticing the peppy wrench, he scowled, all the humor he say from before gone. Recovering himself he stood there, just out of the shadows, orbs red with fire. With his dark body, he could have been the devil in equine form.

Pacific's frosty eyes slid over the stag as he revealed himself, the coldness which radiated from the beast a welcome and familiar presence. She had lived amoung such as he for near as long as she could recall..as had her sister..though Rayne had been warped from birth by the words of thier ill informed dam. The Dam her sibling now sought with such ferocity.
Pale hued femme shifted her weight as the other approched, no doubt he would see her other half as a lesser, but while misinformed Rayne was in Pacific's eyes only temporarily lost..she had little doubt that when this obsession of finding thier dam passed the fire hued femme would return to her, perhaps even forget the fantiful things that had been whispered into her ears and embrace her dark Heritage.
Pacific conviniently forgot that her dam had apparantly been born light, and having scarred the hide of any who mentioned it most had been content to let her forget..of course that was there and this was here.
Here no one knew of such things nor such pasts..Here where she had come only to keep Rayne from falling even farther to the wayside. Three stallions now stood before them, and Pacific glared at them all, even as her sister took but only slight notice of the newcomer, entrusting her snow hued sister to keep her safe.
