.I'm haunted by your memories. .And the pain they're bringing back to me. .I wish that I could simply walk away. .But you make it impossible to start yet day.
The chestnut's dial swung a little as she plodded her way up the mountain. Nothing bothered her these days. Her muscles were hardened to a rugged life. It was obvious in the way her shoulder muscles rolled as she trudged up the steep hillside.
.I'm groping for what you took from me. .But I'm finding it impossible, t hinking of what I could be. .If you had stuck around. .But I'll come through without making a sound.
Finally, the little fem crested the top. And what she saw there almost took her breath away, despite her hardened heart. The view from way up here was incredible. And maybe that phrase wasn't meant to be only used as a metaphor, or whatever it was. it could be taken literally, here at such a high altitude. But she had seen so many changes, the altitude mattered little. She breathed easilly despite it. Finally, she turned away, wondering what would become of her, now that she was here. Wondering if she really wanted to get claimed just yet. But she supposed she would see.
.But I'll wait and see. .I'll just let myself wander free.

Ashen creature had found his steps drawn towards the planatary spot and while he assumed such a thing had to do with death..it normally did for him..he had gone along, simply out of mere curiosity. One dappled leg in front of the other had he roamed..twitching ears harried by pratteling voices only he could here. Gaze sometimes caught by wispy forms only his tainted eyes could see.
One in particular floated in his wake, constantly nettleing him with wearying remarks, making worse his already irritated mood, Swinging his head to snap at the floating form..though such actions did little good, was all but useless really, the stonewrought beast stopped quite suddenly as his vision became drawn for the first time in a long while to the form of the living.
Swirling gaze watched her and the ashen creature tipped his head slightly, long journeys had taken him from here, death had called him elsewhere and now he returned, his dam so often the source of biting remarks for once remained silent as she swooped throughtout the area, dancing on currents only the dead could see.

Elegant red knight stood within the grounds. Arched boa was held high. Bloody hued frame encased in the shadows. He stood not far from the Fae and the approacher. His opps followed as he opted to stay back. Watch for now. Amusement flickered across his features.
Ah, well this should be fun.

The fem took a few more steps forward, then settled herself in a nice little cove. Her harks flickered curiously. She was aware of another being. But she couldn't quite place him. Her audits flicked in another direction as a flock of birds took off from the dead bushes, screaming, wings flapping wildly. The ess snorted disdainfully. Stupid, dizty creatures they were.
She was still aware of that form hidden from her sharp lamps. But she heard his voice. "This should be fun." Her crown jerked toward the noise, her nares flared, trying to catch the scent, her auditories flickering to pinpoint the noise. But it still remained hidden. She snorted. "Let it hide."
Instead, her gaze was drawn toward another, one who openly approached. Her harks flicked toward him, her nares flaring to take in his scent.

Necro was not one to sit passively when something cought his attentions, and as such when two other stags approched the mare which filled his view he frowned to himself ...you ought go see her.. came a lilting voice in his ear, that single voice near made him turn and stalk away simply in defience..but he was past such petty actions. Or so he told himself.
Flicking an ear disdainfully at the phantom being who haunted him the storm hued stag moved forth to see this other whom called to him, His attentions drawn only once to the scattering stones he trod upon, of all things a fossil caught his eye..an everlasting monument to a life gone wrong, Bowing his thick neck the beast moved forth once more until at long last he came to within steps of the mare, his tainted orbs regarding her, the hint of death in his gaze.
"Greetings.."

A smile curled her maw as she watched the stag turn and begin to stalk away, almost like a defiant little child. -What is he crazy?- she wondered smugly to herself, but said nothing aloud as the stag turned back and came to her. Instead, she smiled coyly at him.
''Greetings,'' she nodded in return, bobbing her crown a little. He was quite a bit taller than her, 2 hands at least, and she owed him respect if she did not wish to become a pile of flesh and bones. Perhaps not even flesh. Perhaps only bones.
"I be Ashanti," she said, and bobbed her crown again, banners swinging, as if to confirm it. Like maybe he wouldn't believe her. But she saw no point in lying about her name. Her age perhaps. And she was not against a good lie. But only when it was nesecary.

Red hued stag stepped out of the shadows. Striking up a slow two beat. For he wast in no hurry. A small nicker was let forth as he moved.
Greetings. Chairo ist thous calling. Und you?
His voice was rusty. After not being used for so many years, it would probably never go back to the way it was before. Before what you ask? I shall not tell you. For that is for me to know, and you to find out.
His movement ceased. El Loco, a stag he had seen once before stood within eyesight. A slight flick of his dial showed his aknowledgement of the stag.

Necromancer regarded the mare and her bobbing head, did she think he would disbelieve her? even if she was untruthful..a name was simply a word attached often times by sires and dams before they even seen if it would suit that particular foal.
Often times..but not always no..in some cases the name fit, as his did. Necromancer..one who talked with the dead. Ashanti was a suitable name for the mare he supposed. His flicking gaze turned to long distant clouds perhaps it would rain later, both the gathering clouds and the ever growing netherworldly presense told him there was a high probability.

She gazed in surprise at the two gathered about her. She was but a dejected, devilish young ess, raised for her first months by a lone dark mare. She doubted she deserved these suitors, but she would take them. She nodded to the red hued stag, despite suspecting he was a light. So for a moment, she ignored him. "Necromancer?" she asked. It seemed fitting. A dark, long name. The young ess could not yet know if it's meaning. She turned upon the red hued stag, Chairo. She bobbed her dial to him, for, despite his suspected alliance, he also could pound her to pulp, and so she would play to her strengths for a while. She put on an act, putting a sweet, honey lilt to her vocals. "Chairo, my pleasures. I be Ashanti," she chorused in a sing song voice.

The ashen stag rolled his eyes at the flickas actions, clearly she sought to placate them into placid beasts, wrap them about her little hoof so to speak, he gave her a look of feigned boredom, for while most would appreciate her acts of respect. Necromancer was not fooled by such things. Though the filly he conceeded was a apt actor..and would fool many a light hearted fool..a good talent to have.
...it would prove useful...the ashen brute twisted his head to regard his deathheld dam, flattening his ears at her unwanted comment, though as much as he hated to admit it the ghostly mare was right, turning back to ignore his dam..no doubt the others thought him rather insane by now, though that was hardly anything new..he was quite used to being labeled mad..the beast fixed them with a defiant stare
"Most call me Necro"
..or Necci...came the irritateing voice and a fleeting look of anger crossed his tainted eyes before they cleared at the sound of such a hated nickname, jaws beheld the tension of gritted teeth..and yet no clear cause for this could be seen..at least to those without the curse.

((OOC: Mk, Frosty.))
A ghostly form flickered before the fae's vision, and she shook her dial, and the image faded. -What?- she wondered again, watching the stag who prefured the calling Necro. -Is he crazy?- she wondered for a second time. For there was not hing there..
There..Another flickered of haunting light, that danced before her orbs and faded. It had almost taken the shape of an equine. [/i]Almost[/i]...but not quite. Her lamps grew smaller as she frowned, wondering if she herself was perhaps becoming touched in the head.[/sub]
