The mare walked foreward, her neck arched as her nostrils flared. She looked deeply at the snow as she moved, taking in the scenory. Her feet lifted high above the snow, taking in the crunching sound of the snow underneath her feet. Slowly she picked up the pace. The motion of the rocking canter flowed through her body, her mane whipping back as slush flew up, hitting her broad chest as she flew. The preciose moment felt like heaven. Her moment ended as the snow turned from slush, to to grass. Spring was coming to fast for her. She still loved the snow, and it seemed it was leaving just as soon as it had left. Her gentle eyes watched as the snow fell to the earth, from the large spruce branches, that bent underneath its weight. Prancer walked foreward, casually looking throughout the the dotted trees in blotched forest. A splat sent her running foreward, as the slosh fell from her back and onto the ground, giving her another reason to run and let the wind whip through her mane. Her fun ended as she stumbled on a hidden ice patch. She pranced in place, tossing her head, then half rearing in a playful manner. She was full of life, and couldn't wait to let all of her energy out. Her eyes looked at a small stream that had newly opened up. The water trickled over the large stones with ease, nothing was blocking the current from its hidden destination. Prancer shook her head, and tilted her tiara to the stream, as if to acknowledge its great power, but determined to mask it with her own. Her muscles tensed as her back legs bent, quickly, they sprang, sending her sailing foreward. She landed in the middle of the stream, displeased at not clearing the entire ten feet. She snorted, then her front hoof lifted off the ground. She hit at the water with force, sending droplets flying in all directions. She looked back at the trees, wondering if she should go back, or finish crossing the river. Her mind was set as she crossed the rest of the way, wondering what would be waiting for her on the other side.

The s tallion's golden coat glittered in the sun as he moved softly over the thin layer of snow, his daggers seeming hardly to skim the ground. He snorted, gazing softly about him, and came to a halt near the stream that ran through the claimence mountain. He wa tched the fem frisk and frolic over the stream, smiling a little as he watched the droplets her pistons had thrown up dance and glitter over her shimmering pelt.
He slowed his pace, his own whipcords hanging neatly on his nape, only the gentle spring breeze lifting a few hairs of the topcoat away from his nape. He whinnied softly to her, letting her know he was there, and slowly moved forward, dropping his dial a few feet off from her in a gentle bow, a smile curving his features. "Lo, Dove," he murmured with a smile. "I be Shalome. May I ask what calling graces one of such beauty?" he asked curiously.

Her nostrils flared as she walked forword through the wooded area. Her movement ceased to a halt, as her lobes twisted behind her, listening to the crunching of snow from another. Her head turned to the beast, who was on the same side of the river as Prancer. She acknowledged him with a bob of her head and a nicker. She stood still, listening to what he had to say, but he did not say much. Shalome..... what a pecular name.... She thought to herself, quite interested in the other equine. He was dressed in a sun drentched pelt, beautiful when the sun's warming rays hit him just right. A work of art, that was what all equines were. They each looked different in thier own way, no two were alike it seemed. Of course, color patterns were possible to see two of, but the body form and the movements were all their own. Prancer looked as be dropped to the ground, quite odd she thought. A horse did not usually do those movements, only when standing from a long a sleep, did she ever do that. Her eyes watched him, wondering what he was all about in life. What was she all about, you may ask? She lived for having fun, and never being what others wanted her to be. She loved her life, wild, and free, but knew that her survival depended on her getting into a herd, one that could protect her from danger. She could defend herself, but if strong stallion where to catch her off guard, it would be a problem. Her lips decidd to tell him the information he desired, her mind thinking she had stalled long enough. Prancer. She would say no more, for that was all that was asked of her, and she liked the simple things in life anyway.

He smiled and nodded. "Prancer. A lovely calling for one such as yourself." He murmured, his deep vocals soft, watching the wind play with her tassles, feeling with wind flirting with his own banners. She was a beautiful fem. "And what brings you here, to the claimence mountain?" he asked curiously.

She thought about his question for a moment or two, and then the answer came to her quickly, relizing that it was much deeper then her usual intentions. I come here to find a home, and someone who can protect me against the viscious world we live in. I can fight for myself as any other, but when outnumbered by brute force, I tend to be fighting for a lost cause. I am short in height, and the other brutes who have more stature then I, tend to think they can better me. I have out smarted and out witted many taller equines in the past, but i feel that I can no longer live alone, for fear of my life being at stake when another equine comes across my path. She was not like regular mares, only here looking for love, no, not Prancer. She was one to care about herself, and not want to have to care about others. If she were to fall in love, she could get her heart hurt, or perhaps become a lovestruck looney. That was not for her, she felt it better to keep that door closed for now, and to only make sure she was alright.

He nodded. "Would you be interested in joining me?" he asked. "I hope, as soon as someone will come with me, to make Glistening Lake my home." He nodded a little, as if to confirm it. He gazed at her, a strange look in his lamps. Like..It was indescribable..But she was so beautiful. He snorted, bringing himself back to the real world.

She was somwhat surprised at his offer, but she could not refuse. He was nice, and seemed fit, but she was unsure as to wether he could fight and protect. She could not make that judgement, that was not her area of thought. Her tiara dipped to him in agreement, ease spread over her. Now she would not have to worry about her safety. Her nostrils widened as she gave a low snort. Slowly she walked forword, her muzzle stretched out, touching his shoulder blade gently. Lead the way, my protector.

((OOC: I'll make a post in the Peaceful Ponds, then a claiming post for Glistening Lake.)
"Of course my dear," he murmured, rubbing her with his dial affectionately before picking up a trot toward the peaceful ponds.
