Today we did orchestra seating auditions...it was scary, cuz we had to play all by our selves in front of the whole orchestra. The audition pieces were very shift-y. I used baby powder to help me shift better (for those of you who don't understand violin technique vocab, shifting is when your left hand moves up and down the neck part of the violin to diff. positions). But I still messed up...I think maybe I rushed a bit, and my intonation (the right tone of a note) was offish. And my bow was crooked. And...and...and I was really nervous, and kinda flunked at vibrato (when the note kinda shakes, in a pretty way). And plus, I messed up on some of the fingering also. It was a, a, an allegro thing or something; its like when you go like, 1 3 2 4 and stuff...that. And it was going cross-string too, so it was harder like that.

Yeah. I just felt like berating myself on the Internet. Hah.

Atleast you don't have a Band director who yells at you infront of the whole class, and makes you feel worthless. Thats how the band directors at my old school were. They were evil.

Ouch. Well, our orchestra hasn't made the teacher angry yet, so I have yet to find out if she's evil or not...

Don't worry your day couldn't of been worse then mine, I made a 60 on a geometry quiz and i felt like I was going to cry.

60? K i got a....59 on a math test and like a 63 on a SS two class periods in a row.

Ok, so now are we bragging about bad grades now? Eheh, well, I got, like, less than 50% on a health test once...it was on football. OoOoO!!
