The stars in the sky illuminate below If your world were to die, the light will guide you home[/s]
---
1. sun -noun
The star that is the central body of the solar system, around which the planets revolve and from which they receive light and heat.
The sun, was what heated and warmed the baren loam that equines trudged upon. It was what signled morning, day, evening and night. It was the star in the Milk Way Galaxy that brought life. Without it, all life would perish in a cold world without light. It was a funny thing, the sun. How old was it exactly? Man had estimated 4.5 million years. How long did it still have to live? How long would it allow life to continue on Earth? No one ever thought of it, but when the sun ran out, it would explode. Send gass and flames from Hell everywhere. It would black out the Milky Way Galaxy and form a Black Hole and suck in all that was around it. The sun. Oh, how majestic it was, how much power it had. Even more over looked though, was that the sun its self was a star. A real star. In their galaxy. A star! Could you imagine? It's easy if you try. Everyone thought of stars of flaming fireballs that were scattered endlessly across the universe. A star was majestic symbol of hope. But once more, one failed to see that it was just a flaming Hell that would one day pull everything into the dephs of darkness. Ironic, isn't it?
Illusive was a star, at least had been to her mother. Equines had no idea that stars were flaming fire balls, no, they just told stories to them. So, being called a star was a compliment. Untill the day she had left, she'd been her mothers little star. Illuminating the world. Bringing joy to her mother for the cycles to fallow. She'd been her mothers first offspring. In a sense, she was an experament, to see how well her mother could foster a child. Her mother had done a good job with her gentle touch and strict teachings on deportment. Oh, where would she be without Senorita? How would she have turned out without Senorita? Capria owed everything she had to her mother, she knew that, and she would keep her in mind as she continued her life. Her father had been the lead stallion, his name being Felix. Felix had been strong, but never had she gotten to know him personally. She'd been to shy and Felix hadn't had time for everysingle foal either, he focused on his Queen's offspring and the coltines that lived in the herd. In a way, Illusive had liked it that way, all she had needed was her mother, and it had kept her happy. She wasn't high maintance. But now, Illusive felt cold, she'd be no star no longer.
Ebony blades thudded gently upon the loam. Apex raised as amber pools glanced up into the dark heavens that were lit by the stars. Her main vision was focused on a star that was very bright, the North Star. Her mother had instructed her to fallow it if she got lost, and frankly, after a couple hours of travel, Illusive had gotten lost. Responding to her mothers instructions, she'd looked up into the heavens seraching for that North Star. She'd found it easily. But ever since she found the North Star, she'd began to wonder. She'd studied the heavens at night with persistance and found the Big and Little Dipper. Orions Belt and Pegasus was were also up there. Was there only one Earth? Was there another land far far away in a galaxy that no equine knew about? In her past herd, she'd be shunned for these thoughs so she'd kept them to herself. But now she was on her way, fallowing the North Star untill she hit something that felt like home. Delicate auds flickered gently as the wind whisped through the night. She could hear her mother cooing a soft, very soft tune.
The stars in the sky illuminate below, The light is the sign that love will guide you home. The stars in the sky illuminate below, If the world were to die, the light will guide you.
Oh, how she missed where she had been domiciled before, but now, she was on a journey. An adventure! The thought thrilled Capria inside, she was ready to move on. Dial dipped gently as her hoof beats subdoued. She'd come to a stream. Nape streached down as she touched her plush to the mirror of aqua. Muscles began to work as the cool liquid filled her inside, giving her a certain thrill. She was on her own, with no where to go, she loved it. Apex lifted gentl. Tears dripped from her plush whiskers into the water. She dipped her dial again and looked down at her mirror image. It was strange, this was the only way she knew about her apperance. She was alabaster, with many years of breeding pumped through everyone of her veins. Apex shook as she looked around. She'd need a place to stay, it was time to say goodnight.

Pondering apon life above was a difficult thing to do for many. The amount of space above was incredible. Mind blowing actually, hard to account for. Yes, Chairo had pondered upon life alot. Not much else to do. For he had spent many years alone wandering the desert sands. Trying to find a place where he could call home. Find companions and such. In the desert he would be lucky to find a cactus or a buzzard, singles, by themselves, and stretches of days without anything as such.
Finding this land had been a shock for his optics. Thinking he had found yet another small Oasis that he could spend a few nights in, but no. He had wandered upon a great land of lush vegitation and many equines. He had yet to claim a land of his own, first he must contain atleast a single companion. And having not been around equines in many winters, it was thought to be quite difficult for him to obtain such qualities many maidens search for. He spoke naught often. But yes, he could speak, it depended on his mood he assumed.
His red gold body moved into a land where he could assumingly search for a companion. His arabian heritage stretched back to his father and mother. Queen and King of the largest nomadic herd of equines in all of the desert he came from. Akonaton, his father, an imposing creature he had known for a short while. Maybe a winter and a half at the most. His mother was a kindly creature, a bodess of snow. Wanted by all, but she loved just one. Aton she called him fondly. Chairo had been their first, and ultimately there last, as their unborn spawn was killed along with them.
Chairo's dished ren cranum, streaked in white was shaken, reviving him from his momentary lapse in attention. Boa snaked out, his auds careful to not miss anything in these knew unfamiliar lands. Cocoa optics picked up a dark hued fae. Seemingly in a revery similar to his own. His narrow pillars whirled into motion, moving his carcus at a light two-beat. This two-beat showed off his elegant arabian movements. His boa arched, his crest high. He looked like a stallion you wanted to mingle with.
His pillars tredded lightly on the vegetation, no this was something he could never take advantage of. His nares flared, taking in the lush smell of the green blades. So fresh and sweet, he wished to fall into the smells cushion of joy. His flints skidded lightly into the ground, chopping a few blades slightly short in his haste to halt the pace of his small bod. Kissers parting, a small rumble was admitted to the fae whose name he had yet to find out.
My dear lady. I am Chairo. May i ask you calling?
His voice was soft, rusty from not being used much in the last 4 or so winters. Mind was one to wander, and he had to conscentrate hard to keep his focus upon the well carved fae. But yes, she was one to look at.

xavier. The azul horizon lay flat and rolling, never ending, like the land benieth it. The spacious land of Galloping Free was slowly, but surely coming to be known in population. Xavier of course, had never left it's side. He had stayed, for thsoe three long years that it had been abandoned, making his home here, planing for when he hoped to get it back up. Now, he resided alone, in Power Plateau, so now, what he needed, was a queen, to rule beside him, to help with his plans for the great lands. Talons stirred the worn earth, dust scattering into the air. The sun warmed his strong, young back, he had only aged three winters. Young, yes, experienced more then any other stag around.
His onyx pools gazed out, watching an onyx femme and a stag with her. She hadn't been there long, no, she seemed intelligent, interesting. His pillars moved his strong, russet bodic forward, toward the pair, his dream box lowered to wither height as he two beated along quickly. Auds pricked forth apon his kingly crest, and his dream box raised lgihtly as he came apon the fae and the stag. His pilars slowed to a walk, less dust being kicked up. His dusty onyx pools looked to the stag, a curt dip of the crania being given to him. Respect was a card he played, he hated equines who had no respect for him, so, to earn that, he gave them respect, in hopes to get it back. His dream box raised as he stopped, his onyx pools on the shadowed fae.
His poll came down, a full dip to her, a smile spreading gently along his velveteen mug. His onyx pools looked into hers, trying to catch a simple glimps of what she might be like. Seemingly, not light, but not dark either, but a mix of the two. Xavier, himself, would rather be neutral, but because of his past, and of his duty to Galloping Free, he was a light. Kind at heart, yes, but don't mistake that for being soft spoken, or able to push over. No, Xavier had that burn in his pools, the burn of a fighter, of a warrior. His auds flicked forth apon his crown, his mug opening, raspy lyrics escaping their depths.
"Lo madam, I am Xavier, might I be blessed with the knowledge of your calling?"
The wind rustled his silken threads, and they tickled his slightly arched boa. His attention was fully on her, and what ever movment or lyrics might come from her. She seemed to be exactly what he was looking for, touch, yet soft, intelligent, with good judgement, they might just have to wait and see.

We really need to see this through[/s]
--
The cool aqua elapsed through her inner nape and ceased into her bodice. There it settled the thrist that she oh so craved. Pools closed for what seemed like ages as she continued to suck it out of the small stream that was only a few inches big. It was so pleasing. Bodie swayed back and forth as a small zypher decided to blow her way and play with her silken onyx tresses. It was peaceful. And the pathetic part about it was, this was new to her. Always, always was Illusive on the go. It was non-stop action for her. Pistons never stopped churning underneath her bodice. Auds swivled and became lanky and sagged down as she continued. Bodice swayed upon sturdy pistons that had locked their hocks. Soft snorts blew through her flared nares. It creased the mirror image of the aqua that she was drinking. Her pools became droopy because of lack of sleep.
Auds twitch suddenly. Nares flared gently. A aroma elapsed like waves into her nares. Another equine. Dial shot up in alarm, had he been caught off guard? Hind end began to move restlessly. Dial hovered in the heavens. Where was he? Or she? And then, pools settled upon the equine. Soft sigh emitted from her and into the naked world. It wasn't a threat. Ever since she'd been a small youngling she'd never turned her back on anyone. A) it was disrespectful B) it made you subject for an amubush and that was the last thing that she needed. Physical strengh and mind were the key to survival in the wild. She wasn't a domesticated equine that a human could jump on the back of and gallop for endless miles and turn in any direction. She made her own decsitions.
She watched as the equine approached and judging by his thick neck and cheeks, it was a brujo. Soft snort emitted from her nares as she watched him approach and come forth to a halt.
My dear lady. I am Chairo. May i ask you calling?
--
[silence]
--
"Lo madam, I am Xavier, might I be blessed with the knowledge of your calling?"
--
Dial turned as she saw the second brujo. A paint one, he looked intresting, but so did the first one. Why was she being approached. Illusive began to search her mind for an answer and then she found it. I'm so stupid! She thought to herself, she was ini the claiming grounds of course! Don't go thinking you're some magent in the wild. Illusive watched them and hesitated before she dipped her dial to both of them. She could hear her mother, "always resepct higher authority. Unless they are insignifigant fools" Soft snort emitted from her nares as she remembered her mothers words. Oh, she'd been a smart creature. Pools rested on the first one and then to the next before her velvets parted to release her lyrics into the atmosphere around them.
Illlusive...I go by Illusive.

The solar ball jumped higher and higher into the sky, finally resting at mid point. Its heat waves seemingly engulfed the red knight and the two others he stood by. Water seemingly trickled down his pelt, leaving darkened streaks along his red hot coat.
Attention lapsing, the stags mind turned to his surroundings. Though only being here for such a short amount of time, he had found a home. A single maiden resided with him. Companionship was new to him, as he had only had the companionship of cactus’s and the such in recent years.
Green filled his auds. As far as the eye can see? Yes, that’s what they say. And its so true. Green seemed to be everywhere, from the tree tops to the loam. Noise came from the stag beside him Xavier. His name was unusual. But so was Chairo’s.
His mind was brought back to the present at the fae’s lyrics. She seemed reserved, and slightly nervous. Illusive. Illusive was her name. A soft name, a name that rolls off of your tongue like liquid. Not the cold metallic sounds of some of the names he had heard around the lands.
His boa was sent down wards, tearing at the loam. He hadn’t a chance to survive off of loam in the many years upon the desert. The only times he got his filling of vegetation was the off chance of finding an oasis. He had learned to survive on much less.
After the fae spoke, his mind pondered on what he had to say. He knew not of what she wished to here. And he wished to not tell her un needed substantial facts about his being. He was not his lands or the amount of fae’s that accompanied him.
Instead of elipting words that made him look like an unsocialized idiot, which, the unsocialized was fully correct, a deep rumble was allowed to escape the caverns inside him. His larynx rumbling was soft. Comforting. He knew not what else to do.
His maw was extended towards the ebon fae, hoping for acceptance.

xavier. He had waited a long time to find a femme that truely intrigued him like she did. Pillars shifted his young bodic, his brawn hued pelt glistening in the sun, his dark onyx pools apon the shadowed femme, wondering the thoughts that had entered her crania. So many thoughts about random things had entered his own crest, like how far did the sky go, how long was forever? He had quite a short attention span, just for his general wonderings. Auditives flicked forth, taking in her soft lyrics. THis femme seemed flightly, but maybe it was just nerves. They all had them, some more then others, he could understand why she might be afraid, having two unknown stallions approach her. Yes, that could test someone's fears.
Xavier had his own fears, just like everone else did. He was afraid that he couldn't hold up his duty, or he couldn't live up to his fathers name. He was afraid that Galloping Free would slowly decline to and come crashing down around his pillars, leaving him to try to pick up the pieces one last time. He was afriad he would never find true love, he was afraid that in time he would be come a failure to everyone. He was afraid that he would become a washed up has been. Xavier was also afraid of death. So maybe bravery wasn't having no fears, maybe bravery was knowing that something was more important then your fears, and fighting against them to do what was right.
His dark onyx pools strayed to her, his auditives flicking apon his brawn crest, he caught her soft lyrics, and her name came familar to him, and a smile crept apon his features, happiness apparent in his onyx pools. The zephyr played gently with his banner and tassles, which danced about his rump and on his slightly arched boa. Illusive, beautiful. His talons scathed the ground gently as he moved about it, shifting his wieght, brawn pelt sparkling lightly as he moved, the sun playing off his strong back. He would be young for only a few more years, and they went quickly. It positively scared him how fast the years went by. It was like, the second you blinked, half your life was gone. Now that was frightening.
The sounds of spring about them, the rustling of the grasses, the singing of the birds. Other things coudl be heard, off in the distance that is, other equines slowly came and went as the trio stood there. He wasn't intersted in the floosy mares, or the unintelligent ones, he was intereset in her, no matter what things she had wrong with her, all he knew, was that he wanted her in his herd. Somethings you just couldn't explaine, and this was one of them. Some questions just couldn't be answered, like all the ones Xavier silently pondered, that was just the way it went.
The cool zephyr pulled him away from his thoughts, and onyx pools wandered to Illusize and her shadowed feautres. She was a beauty, no doubt about it. Mug opened lightly, soft vocals edmitting from them, his onyx pools sparkling lightly.
"Well, welcome then. You have a lovely calling, Illusive. Please, is there anything you think we ought to know about yourself? Is there anything you wish to know about us?"
His brawn crania come down lightly, yet another gentle dip to her. It was always right to be respectful of a fae, for they were high standered above everyhting else.

Take a good look so you’ll never forget it[/s]
Illusive wasn’t a shy being, but at first impression she sure as hell was. But what she did was inch her way foreword and find a comfort zone. Illusive hated to be judged and was a hypocrite when she said she hated labels, but she was a label whore herself. She labeled everything. Her favorite tags to slap onto creatures were ‘pathetic’, ‘insignigant’, and ‘power hungry ‘and’ amazing. She’d named very few equines ‘amazing’. Most of her false generalizations were very much on the deep negative side. But then again, who could blame her? Her head was up her own arse. She was superior. She was Neutral. Aye, that was the magic world. That was her stereotype, Neutral. And she’d never lye when she said, that she was proud of it as well.
She hoped the brujos didn’t think she was scared of them, for she wasn’t. She was just too self-conscious and didn’t want to look like an idiot. Soft huff emitted from her nares. What was she scared of? Well, she wasn’t scared of snakes or Satanists’ like some brujas. At a young age she’d been scared of drowning. The thought of having your lounges fill up with aqua until you were you felt as if it was going to come up your throat had threatened her in dreams. That had been her foal hood though, what scared her now? Death. She’d never admit but she was scared of death. She wouldn’t fight to the death or anything. She was dead serious. What was beyond the border of life and death? Was there a border? To think, leaving all that there is here. She’d never feel pain or joy again. Illusive wasn’t sure if there was a God, Heaven or Hell but what she did know was that she was scared, of death. And in a way it was a smart fear, to fear fear itself.
Pools stayed on the couple of brujos that stood before her. One didn’t part his velvets while the other did. What did she want to know? Bodice shifted easily on her pistons. Soft huff emitted from her throat. Pools glanced away and toward the skies. A soft zypher floated by playing and tangeling her tresses. Apex lowered as she snorted and looked at the loam. When you died, you lost everything. There was only a dark abyss of…nothing. Did they fear it the same way she did? Curiosity got the best of her. Velvets parted before she spoke.
Do you fear death?
She paused.
It’s a strange question, but . . . it’s a big one.
Please understand

Red knights cocoa optics followed the fae. His listeners following, first the stag dubbed Xavier, and then to the fae herself. Her question, an odd one it was. He understood it though.
Being afraid of death. He couldn't say he was afraid of death. Just death before accomplishment. To not fulfill his dreams, and the dreams of others for him. To die before his heir was old enough to take over Golden Plains. To die before he even knew his own heir. To die before building a herd to be proud of. To die before equaling the accomplishments of the great King Akonaton.
M'lady. I fear not death itself. For my fear is of death before accomplishment.
He knew not another way to explain it. His lyrics were soft. Short and sweet. To the point. Exactly the way he understood the question.
His maw was outstretched towards her once more, a soft blow through his nares. He sensed the subject to be a sensitive one. Perhaps an equine close to her had died young? Or perhaps it was just a simple fear. Like the fear of cactus's he himself had, after a small cactus prick had stuck him in his rump when he was a colt.
