Gazing at the stars, Moonlight Goddess whickered happily to herself. She loved being the night, even though it wasn't the safest time to out and about. She knew she would probably be claimed by a stallion today, and to tell the truth, she was pretty nervous. But at the same time, she was excited about it. She had been alone for 4 years, and that was about to change. She nickered a greeting to whoever may be nearby, so that they would know she was there.

Ash had just happened to be walking by. When he heard the call he turned toward it. He looked like a ghost in the moonlight but he was a light horse sent by god. but that was his past. He still did good for people but not that much anymore he was no wanting to start a herd and then claim a land before they where all gone.

Moonlight Goddess sensed someone nearby. She looked around and spied a stallion. She nickered to him, hoping he would answer. She hoped that he would be the one that would be her friend. She needed someone that would understand what she had been through and help her through troubled times. Maybe he was the one.

He looked at her with his bright eyes and smiled. He bowed his head to her to show respect.

Moonlight Goddess bowed back. "Hello, my name is Moonlight Goddess." She smiled happily at him. His words were like a blessing. Her eyes were glowing with happiness and she felt like she could leap with pleasure. He seemed like the kindest stallion she could ever have met.

"Why, thank you," Moonlight Goddess said bashfully. "And no, I do not have a home." She gazed upon his kind eyes and smiled. He was the best thing that could happen to her. As she waited for his reply, she shyly dug her hoof into the dirt. She smiled at Ash. It seemed as if he already knew what she was going through.
