Elegia's Entering

Elegia trotted in the lands that Red Raven had claimed. This was her new home. She looked around for any sparks of fire. None appeared. She let out a sigh then figured how could she be so stupid to actually think a fire would be here. I mean there was no storm to start anything. She looked at Red Raven and smiled.


It is wonderful


She wasn't lying. Enchanted woods seemed to be a perfect place. She could already see herself grazing with other vixens around her. Elegia swooshed her ebon tail trying to get rid of the pesky flies, but soon forgot about them and looked back towards her new home.

_{Red smiled glad that Elegia liked her home. He snorted softly as he gazed around the terra then back to Elegia. He nuzzled her shouder softly. His gaze was soft and kind. He looked back over the lands. Looking from the woods to the clearing then to the lake. It truely was a wonderful place. And it was his, to care for and protect. And as long as Red had say in it, it would pass to his heir when he was old enough and Red was ready to retire from holding a terra in his control. Red smiled softly he could imagine his herd now all of them grazeing, some of them carrying foals and others lean and suckiling foals at there sides. It truely would be a wonderful site. THe only problem was finding mares, gf3 was on a short demand for mares it seemed.

Elegia walked forward into the clearing. She took in a deep breath, gathering all the scents. Her auds perked forward as her orbs scanned the nre terra in closer view. She then looked over at the woods. They would provide plenty of shade if the hot sun revealed itself.


Elegia threw her cranium and let out a snort and began grazing. She eyed Red Raven. The emerald blades tasted so sweet her in mouth. Why was this land so perfect? She lifted her head and went over to the woods and relaxed in the cool shade.

Red watched her softly, he turned his dial and looked towards the neighboring terra it was empty as well. Would there ever be neighbors in that terra. Red snorted lightly he turned and trotted down threw the terra and over to the woods where Elegia was. He walked into them a little way and lowered his frame to the ground he vurled his pillars up underneath him. He gazed around wathcing the everything.

<sub>Elegia eyed Red Raven as he went deeper into the woods. She didn't walk over there though. Elegia went the other direction to the water source. She dipped her cranium to the water until her kissers touched the cool surface, making ripples.


She took two gulps and then lifted her cranium. Crytal droplets fell from her kissers as she looked back towards the woods. She perked her auds and let out a deep sigh. Nothing was wrong she was just happy.</sub>

_{Red lowered his maw to the ground, his pools slowly began to close. He drifted off to sleep. an hour later he away with a jolt, the sun had almost set comepletly. He stood quickly giving himself a shake. He trotted from the woods only to see that everthing was fine. He let out his breath that he hadn't realize he had been holding.}

_{Elegia turned around as she saw Red Raven trot out of the woods. For some reason he seemed worried. She looked at him with curiostity. Once she saw him relax she shrugged her muscular shoulders and took a bite of the emerald blades. She chewed them slowly keeping an eye on Red Raven, making sure every thing really was ok.}

_{Red's heart was shattered, it had happened and he new it would. Tears formed at his optics and they spilled over the brims. He knew that this would happen. And he should've been more prepared. He lowered his dial to the ground lettting the tears fall splatering the ground.}

<sub>Elegia paused in her chewing. She turned and saw Red Raven crying. A confused look lay 'pon her cranium. Did she do something or was it his thoughts that caused it. she took a step towards him but hesitated. she then gained courage to walk to him. She stopped by his shoulder and said:


Is everything alright?


She hoped she wasn't going to make him mad by getting nosy. Some stallions didn't appreciate that. She gave his shoulder a small nudge and waited for an answer. This was something she's never done before, 'cause her lost love never showed feelings.</sub>

Well i havent been truely trurthful with you.
Red stammered out his lyrics they where full of emiotn as he conituned on with his lyrics.
Before i came here i left behind my pregnant mate, she had choossen to leave me to go back to her father so i left. i have just recently gotten word from my other daughter that Minstrel my old mate. Foaled and a day after died. Now i have a newborn filly who is on her way with my daughter to bring her to me to rasie. Its happeing agian. First Secret then Minstrel. He huzzled her softly

<sub>Elegia shook her cranium, why did everything bad have to happen to him. She thought of what she could say, since she didn't want to say anything that would make it worse.


I'm so sorry, Is there anything I can do? Want me to give you some space?
Most horses needed some time alone. she didn't care if he never sid the whole truth. thats happened to her many times and was now used to it. She learned to forgive and forget. She hoped there was something she could do to make him feel better.

_{Red nudged her softly. No, i want you beside me. Red bumped her shoulder softly. THen he looked around the terra before back to her. his red banner flickering softly. He gazed upon his love Elegia. She was sweet and careing. And she had a great chance of becoming his queen. But only time would tell who would become queen and rule next to him here in Ehcntanted Woods.

<sub>Elegia shook her cranium letting her tassel fall over her choclate orbs. She herd Red Ravens question and thought about it. The season was coming to an end and a foal would be an interesting thing. She nuzzled his shoulder before she said:
