Dakota trotted proudly in, Shatez at his side. This terra was theirs. They could be proud of it now. It was marvelous here. And it belonged all to them. Horse paradise should be the nick-name, for it was beautiful. Many streams, lakes, trees, mountains, caves, and wildlife littered the land. Dakota shook his head in amazement. It was completely wonderful.
He nudged Shatez lightly.

Shatez proudly entered the land that was no her new home. It seemed to be perfect. Shatez would explore it later. She right now neede to take in the view and scents.
It's perfect
She nudged him back a small smile playing on her painted kissers. Her auds were perked forward as she looked over at the stream. Yes it was clean, she's seen many water sources muddy or dirty. This was hers and her loves new home and she liked it.

Dakota nodded as he got a far away look in his eye. A soft smile was upon his kissers.
If ye wish to have foals, this shall be a fine place to raise them.
He then straightened up, and came back to earth.
If we are going to have foals, we're going to have to do it soon or wait another season.
He watched a small herd of deer playing in part of the meadow. Another direction, there was a big herd of elk messing around by a stream. Mates were separated from the herd, assuring that there would be new members in the herd next season. [/font][/color] |

Yes he was right. Breeding season was coming to an end. Shatez wouldn't mind a foal by her side next time around this year. shatez approached him and rubbed her nuzzle on his shoulder.
I guess we sha'll hurry.
It would be Shatezes first foal when they decided to breed. Shatez was only a little nervous but she knew that would pass. Pained kissers let a sigh pass through them as she threw her cranium and let out a snort, just for joy.

this was it they would now head to the breeding lands. She already wondered what the foal would look like or what they would name it. So much came to her mind but they needed to breed before she could get to far in her thinking.
Shatez nodded to Dakota as she was ready to follow him to the breeding lands. This was a step in her life, and she was ready for it.
